Lights, Camera, Bel Canto Choir
On Wednesday afternoon the entire Bel Canto Choir got dressed up and traveled to the Detroit Public Television Studio in Wixom for a very special event! The taping of a PBS Special, Celebrate America. Although you won’t be able to see the special in all it’s High Definition glory until March we were able to get some behind the scenes pictures and footage of the performance. So please enjoy this wonderful performance by this incredibly talented group of kids!

Bel Canto Choir Camp 2009
On September 11th a group of Bel Canto Choir members made a trip to Camp Cavell in Lexington Michigan. The purpose of the retreat was to bring this group of talented young men and women together as a group or team. Through fun exercises and games they learned what makes them strong and how to support each other as a group. Rehearsals were also a big part of this weekend to help them prepare for several upcoming events such as television taping at the Detroit PBS station in October. If you would like to see more pictures of this great weekend. please visit Mr. McBain’s Flickr page.
